This course considers advanced analog electronics design with a particular emphasis on radio frequency (RF) electronics. Both theoretical and practical aspects of RF electronic circuits are considered. A major component of the course is a small group project, where design, testing and construction of an electronic circuit is required.
ObjectivesThis course seeks to give students; 1. An in-depth knowledge of advanced analog electronic design. 2. An understanding of the scope, principles, norms and accountabilities and bounds of contemporary engineering practice in RF electronic design. 3. Ability to apply established engineering methods to solving problems in RF electronics. 4. Ability to apply engineering techniques, tools and resources in RF electronics | |||
