This course is designed to develop students' understanding of the ways in which children learn in the Creative Arts and the PDHPE learning areas.
| Objectives | By the end of the course, students will be able to: - Demonstrate a knowledge of the content required to teach in the Creative Arts and PDHPE key learning areas; - Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Creative Arts and PDHPE syllabi and how they can be implemented in schools; - Demonstrate a range of strategies appropriate to the delivery of these key learning areas; - Demonstrate an understanding of integrated programming for sequential skill development; - Develop appropriate procedures for the assessment and evaluation of students' achievements. |
