This course explores contemporary and popularised issues that are prevalent in the fields of both inclusive preschool education and early intervention services for infants and young children with disabilities. It seeks to provide knowledge and understanding of emerging evidence-based practices.
| Objectives | Upon completion of this course, students will be expected to: 1. demonstrate understanding of historical factors on contemporary practice in Early Childhood special education 2. critique theories, philosophies and curriculum approaches in Early Childhood special education 3. describe and critically analyse contemporary issues and trends in Early Childhood special education |
