|Objectives||- Enhance the knowledge and understanding of theoretical concepts in educational administration with special emphasis in relating theory to practice. |
- Facilitate the development of skills and competencies of the participants to adopt the appropriate strategies, techniques and approaches based on theoretical concepts and best practices to move the organisations forward.
- Facilitate the development of critical thinking to draw from the knowledge, experience, research and best practices in finding solutions to institutional problems and issues.
|Content||Ten broad topics are considered for this purpose. The topics are: Theoretical Foundations of Educational Administration, Bureaucracy, Organisational Climate & Culture, Professionals in Organisations, Educational Leadership, Motivation & Job Satisfaction, Organisational Communication, Management & Resolution of Conflicts, Organisational Politics and Democratisation & Participatory Decision-Making.|
