On successful completion of the course students will be able to:
1. Enhance the knowledge and understanding of theoretical concepts and best practices in organisational behaviour and managing people.
2. Facilitate the development of skills and competencies to relate theoretical concepts and best practices to refine and improve practice.
3. Employ the enhanced understanding of organisational behaviour and team approaches to human resource management in creating a healthier working environment and an organisational life to improve performance leading to the accomplishment of organisational goals.
This course provides an in-depth knowledge and understanding of ten broad topics. Topics considered include: Organisational Behaviour as a Management Perspective, interpersonal relations and individual differences, Group Dynamics and Leadership, Organisational Structures and Processes, Job Satisfaction and Organisational Performance, A General Perspective of Managing People, A Team Perspective of Managing People, Team Roles, Team Work and Strategic Team Management.
