Examines interpersonal communication processes, which are required for collaborative/planning roles in disability services. In particular, skills will be developed in the areas of listening, interviewing, conflict resolution, and collaborative problem solving. This course is delivered in distance mode.

Objectives The course addresses the development of interpersonal communication skills that are essential in effective consultation, collaboration and planning with colleagues and other professionals.

Specifically, the course will:

1. Develop knowledge and understanding of aspects of the interpersonal communication processes, which are required for the collaborative/planning roles in disability services.

2. Develop listening, interviewing, conflict resolution, and collaborative problem solving skills.
