Provides an introduction to the area of programming principles and strategies used in the design of support programs for people with disabilities. This course is delivered in distance mode.

|Objectives||At the successful completion of the course, students will be able to;|
1. discuss the place of lifespan approaches and quality of life concepts in the design of support programs, delivered across a range of settings,
2. identify and utilise principles and strategies derived from behavioural and ecological approaches to intervention,
3. incorporate basic assessment, programming and evaluation strategies in the design of support programs for people with disabilities.
