Designed to provide students with the understanding, knowledge and appreciation of skills, processes and outcomes necessary to teach music, drama and visual arts in the K-6 setting.
| Objectives | Students will: 1. develop teaching and learning programs suitable for 0-5 and K-2 in music, drama and visual arts 2. select and adapt conceptually appropriate repertoire and resources appropriate for 0-8 arts 3. plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences in music, drama and visual arts 4. demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the development and content of the K-6 Creative Arts Syllabus 5. demonstrate the skills and understandings required to establish and maintain learning environments appropriate to preschool settings and K-2 classroom arts programs. |
