Teaching and Learning in S&T and PDHPE K-6

This courses comprises two equal components.
Part A: Teaching and Learning in Science and Technology and Part B: Teaching and Learning in PDHPE. Together these components develop an understanding of the rationale for Science and Technology and PDHPE in K-6, an understanding of both syllabus documents and knowledge and skill in planning, implementing and assessing programs in these areas for K-6 students.

Objectives For students to:
1. demonstrate knowledge of the Science and Technology and PDHPE K-6 syllabi
2. develop a range of strategies appropriate to the teaching of these KLAs
3. develop appropriate preocedures for the assessment and evaluation of students' achievements in these KLAs
Content Topics include:
Parts A & B:
-syllabus structure and components
-OHS issues in implementing teaching and learning activities
-planning, implementing, assessing and evaluating for whole class and small groups including identified special needs
