Explores the nature of various NSW technology curriculum and the application of electronics control content in that curriculum. The focus of the subject will relate this content to specific classroom applications and the relationships between the curriculums of Technology, Design & Technology (Stage 5)and Industrial Technology (Electronics, stage 5).

ObjectivesIt will provide opportunity for students to:
1. Examine Robotics and Electronics within Technology education.
2. Employ design thinking and documenting processes
3. Introduce basic analogue and digital electronic theory and its application to a range of teaching & learning contexts
4. Investigate the application of electronics simulators in design contexts
4. Analyse a range of ways where electronics can be utilised by students in design projects.
5. develop strategies to motivate students in the use of electronics.
6. Examine the application of electronics technology in NSW Syllabuses
7. Development of curriculum resources that utilise Electronics technology appropriately.

5. Thinking Design: Designing and problem solving in electronics environments

10.Teaching resource development including instructional design and classroom practice that supports information technology and technology literacy.
