This course explores the principles and practices of teaching and learning Stage 4 Music in secondary schools. Students will consider the role and value of music in contemporary society and the broader school curriculum. Students will explore lesson planning and programming for Stage 4 Music curriculum; and a range of strategies, technologies and resources for teaching and assessing Music at the secondary school level.

ProjectsMajor Assignment = 60%: 2,500 words or equivalent; Consisting of planning, programming, assessment, and resource building tasks linked to the requirements of the NSW Stage 4 Music Curriculum. This assignment will consist of multiple parts to the value indicated above.
