Examines key trends and developments emerging in the rapidly expanding field of information technology, and the opportunities these trends offer to enhance and develop inter-business interactions, as well as government, not-for-profit and community organisations. Focuses on the identification and analysis of information technology trends, developments, opportunities, and appropriate strategies for implementation.

Objectives 1.To critically examine conceptual definitions of eCommerce.
2.To consider relationships between eCommerce and "traditional" business and commerce.
Content The course is presented as a series of closely integrated and inter-related topic areas. Covering the history and technical underpinnings of eCommerce and through current strategic and operational issues facing managers and the longer term strategic implications of eBusiness.
