Enables students to develop the depth of creative and analytical skills necessary for performance at an advanced level. Students are required to display academic and professional skills of a standard necessary for entry to a higher degree program and/or principal roles in industry.

Objectives On completion of this course, students should be able to:
1 Develop and articulate individual concepts relevant to a studio specialisation
2 To gain appropriate knowledge and skills through research and experimentation
3 Display an ability to self-evaluate studio outcomes
4 Develop professional presentation standards
5 Display an awareness of trends of contemporary professional practice
6 Document practical and theoretical material in a scholarly manner
7 Demonstrate a command of research skills and methodology appropriate for entry performance in a higher degree.
