Introduces the use of drawing as a communication tool. Emphasis is placed on an awareness of the design process and developing skills in visual problem solving, observation, interpretation, learning to use visual language and visual research methodology.
| Objectives | On successful completion of this course students will be able to: 1 Communicate ideas effectively through drawing. 2 Demonstrate an understanding of visualisation skills appropriate to the design process. 3 Demonstrate an ability to carry out individual visual research. 4 Be able to analyse visual image objectively. 5.Demonstrate visual understanding of form, proportion and structure. |
