This course consists of a series of lectures and/or practical work in an area of advanced computer science of contemporary interest. The content the course may vary from year to year according to developments in technology and the presence of academic visitors.

Objectives Objective 1) To give students the opportunity to study new areas of research which are introduced by new or visiting academic staff, or research interests of existing staff.

Objective 2) To present current research issues in these areas.

Objective 3) To develop research and communication skills.
