The course will explore the development of publications for both print and on-line applications. Students will be producing traditional 'desktop published' documents and expand their skills by the development of on-line document delivery techniques. As students will be generating documents for both print and on-line applications they will be introduced to the production requirements and professional practices required for both media.

Objectives On successful completion of the course, the student will have:
1. gained skills in the development of print and on-line publications;
2. gained skills in the editing of publications;
3. engaged with the conceptual and technical aspects of design for cross-media delivery of publications;
4. developed their ability to analyse their own and others work.
Content The course will explore the editing and design of publications for both print and on-line applications. Students will develop skills in producing traditional 'desktop published' documents and expand their skills by the development of on-line document delivery techniques. As students will be generating documents for both print and on-line applications they will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of the production requirements and professional practices required for both media.
