Examines a number of strategies required to interpret, analyse and produce media interviews across a range of programs and media platforms. Media Interviews concentrates on the preparation, presentation and production of the interview in both traditional and new media. It analyses the form of the interview in spoken word and visual media, and examines how the way the interview is conducted changes across a range of media and entertainment texts. This course provides students with the opportunity to research, write, record and produce recorded interviews and in the process develop interpersonal and media communication skills.
