Students undertake a supervised individual research project, culminating in the production of a final research report. This course represents an extension of the research development course ARBE6361 in which students selected their research topic, developed a research proposal and prepared a comprehensive literature review. In this course students build on the foundations laid in ARBE6361 in order to progress their research to the completion stage. This entails advancing their study through the research design, investigation, analysis and discussion phases and proceeding to detail findings and develop and present conclusions.

Prior to the commencement of this course students are required to complete the preparatory components of the individual research project development (including the research proposal and literature review) in accordance with the assessment requirements established for ARBE6361. Students must obtain a final mark of 50% or higher in the assessment tasks set in the property research course ARBE361 before being eligible to progress their research project to the completion stage in ARBE6371.
