Examines the core concepts, principles and techniques underlying contemporary property portfolio management practice. Strategic property portfolio management concepts, theories and techniques will be applied to the management of corporate real estate portfolios.

Objectives 1. Understand the fundamental concepts, principles and techniques underlying contemporary property portfolio management
2. Understand the development of asset management theories from their inception in property management to strategic asset management.
3. Ability to analyze the role of corporate real estate in the strategic management of the organization and their performance.
Content 1. Property portfolio management:
- Portfolio objectives and role of diversification
- Portfolio management theory,
- The construction, monitoring and adjustment of property portfolios

2. Strategic Asset Management:
- Asset Management theories
- Life Cycle Analysis
- Sustainability in built assets
- Strategic property portfolio management, concepts, theories and techniques

- Corporate Real Estate management models
- Corporate property strategies,
- Role of corporate property in the strategic management of the organization,
- Corporate real estate performance measurement and risk analysis
