Considers complex public building types, major institutional clients and a diversity of building users. Design problems deal with interrelationships of spaces and specialist functions, including public interface, public assembly and functional performance. Projects will have an emphasis on an 'urban' site with a range of construction materials selected in accordance with fire-rating requirements.
