Examines alternative model types and their uses and appropriateness within the design process. Introduces practices and modeling techniques across multiple domains.

Objectives
This course introduces the formal skills necessary for model making and methods for three-dimensional representation as they are applied in the context of industrial design.
Content
Students will complete exercises developing skills in the following areas:

1. Defining the relationship between process and medium.
2. Defining the relationship between models and industrial production.
3. Developing appropriate models for the Built Environment
