Introduces students to foundational knowledge of elements of art, music, drama and dance. It will examine ways in which the four art forms can be integrated to create art that is dynamic and expressive, building upon basic understandings of the nature and purpose of these art forms.
Attendance: students are expected to attend a minimum of 80% of this course
| Objectives | After successfully completing AART1010 students will be able to demonstrate: 1. A practical appreciation of visual art, music, drama and dance as mediums of creative expression. 2. Foundational and integrative skills in the production of creative works in the mediums of visual art, music, drama and dance. |

Understand the developmental process, from conception to completion, of creative works. Have an understanding of issues relating to Health and Safety. |
