2013 Term Dates
Please Note: All terms are nine weeks and do not always coincide with school terms.

Enrolment Procedures
New Students
Complete and sign the Conservatorium Student Enrolment Form (PDF 60KB) and return to the Conservatorium administration together with any payment for tuition.
New students should contact the Conservatorium office to arrange placement in a class or the allocation of a teacher for instrumental or vocal tuition.
The Conservatorium has EFTPOS facilities available and is able to accept payments by credit card (Visa or Mastercard only), debit card, or by a cheque attached to an enrolment form (cheques are usually cleared within 10 working days, please contact us if you have any enquiries on its status). Cash cannot be accepted at the counter.
For your convenience, our reception is open until 6:30pm each night for the first week of each term and until 6:00pm each night during the second week of each term.
Please note: The Conservatorium reserves the right to cancel classes depending on student numbers.
Re-Enroling Students
Re-enrolment letters are sent out a few weeks before the start of term. This form will indicate your current enrolment details, your personal details that we have on record and what you must pay to continue your enrolment in the following term. Please complete the appropriate details and return them as soon as possible to ensure your place. If you have not received your re-enrolment letter please feel free to contact us directly.
Discontinuing Students
If you are not returning please notify the Conservatorium office ASAP (in addition to your teacher) to ensure that you are not charged any additional fees and to allow your place to be offered to other interested students.
Instrument Hire
The Conservatorium offers an instrument hire service to those students currently enrolled in Conservatorium programs. Instrument hire is available on a per term basis at a modest cost for limited period. A bond payment is required for all instrument hire. The bond will be refunded at the end of the hire agreement provided Instrument Hire Conditions have been satisfied. Hire fees, bond rates and hire periods are available on application.
Student Medical Conditions
Parents are asked to report student's medical conditions on enrolment to their teacher or to the Director of Community Music Programs on 02 492 18937. Contact numbers for the Conservatorium's First Aid Officers are displayed in all rooms.
Duty of Care
It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to escort to and collect from the allocated room, their child/children in a punctual manner. The parent/guardian must inform the Conservatorium in advance if a person other than the parent/guardian is delivering or collecting the child/children.
