| 17 Oct, 2013 Thursday | Free lunchtime concert. Lunchtime Concert by recorder virtuoso Alana Blackburn, with Rosalind Halton on harpsichord. This concert will feature music of the Italian Baroque, including Corelli and Castello, as well as contemporary Japanese composer Ryohei Hirose. Alana Blackburn (recorder) was recently appointed Lecturer in Music at the University of New England, following her studies at the University of Sydney (M.Mus.) and B. Mus. at the Conservatorium of Amsterdam (2010). She has made a special study of contemporary Japanese compositions for recorder, and is currently collaborating in concert with Shakuhachi Master Riley Lee. | 1.00pm |
