International alumni awards

Some countries offer awards to recognise graduates of any Australian university residing in their country. Our world-class graduates have been the winners of many of these awards and proudly build the good reputation of the University of Newcastle and extend its global footprint through their achievements.

If you know of outstanding graduates living in the countries listed below – please advise the Alumni Relations Office by email alumni@newcastle.edu.au and we will consider preparing a nomination.

The Australia China Alumni Awards recognise and promote the exceptional and diverse achievements of Australian-educated university alumni who are now based in China.

The awards are presented to alumni who have achieved exceptional results in their field of endeavour. The University of Newcastle has world-class graduates in China who have been recipients and finalists since these awards began. Read their stories.
