Welcome to the Early Childhood Intervention - Professional Development Project, part of the Stronger Together initiative of DADHC.

 

This site provides support materials and links for people participating in the research and professional development project “Preventing and reducing challenging behaviour in young children”

 

The central aim of this project is to provide a practical step-by-step process for staff working in early childhood intervention services and education that will maximise the social and communicative involvement of the children they support.

 

There are two series of workshops available.  The Core Course has the following goals:

The Autism Course is a pilot and complements the Core Course by focusing on a systematic approach to addressing the needs of young children on the autism spectrum.
