Inter-Cultural Studies

Inter-Cultural Studies - A forum on Social Change & Cultural Diversity is a project that consists of an annual conference and the publication of the journal, Inter-Cultural Studies. The aim of the project is to contribute to the collective intellectual life of The University of Newcastle by bringing together staff and students, members of the local community and outside scholars for a general, inter-disciplinary exploration of the concept of inter-cultura studies in its many diverse forms. Papers are invited from all areas of inter-cultural studies including: Australian Studies, regional studies, discipline based studies and language & language teaching.

Papers by doctoral candidates are particularly welcome.

Both conference abstracts and papers to be included in the journal are subject to a process of peer review.
