Training workshops and tour dates for Rock & Water

Three-day training workshops are delivered throughout Australia twice per year, in February/March/April and October/November. The workshops are presented by either Freerk Ykema, Brian Hayes or Carl Marshall, and are open to all educators. Tour dates and training opportunities are given below. Please note that some workshops are organised by the Gadaku Institute, not the Family Action Centre. For information on these courses contact the host organisation directly (details are supplied).

On-line Registration

On-line registration is available ONLY for workshops coordinated by the Family Action Centre. Please contact the host school for the other workshop details. By registering on-line you agree to and acknowledge the Liability Waiver and our Cancellation Policy.  (Note: If a security alert message appears when you click on the register button, simply click "yes" to proceed. The site IS secure; the message is generated by your own internet settings/requirements.)

Workshop Fee's:  Melbourne workshop cost is $752.00 (inc gst) the workshop includes Rock and Water Manual, Theory Booklet and catering, all other workshops are $695.00 inc gst).

Host Schools / Venues

If you're interested in being a host school (NSW, NT, SA, VIC or ACT) you will need a school hall with a wooden floor at least 20m x 30m (basketball court size). For hosting you will receive two free placements valued at $1390 or $1000 host fee. LIABILITY WAIVER: I agree and acknowledge that I am undertaking participation in the Rock and Water training and activities of my own free will and intentional act. I am fully aware that possible physical injury might occur to me as a result of my participation in these events.  I give this acknowledgement freely and knowingly and that I am, as a result, able to participate in the events and I do hereby assume responsibility for my own well-being.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Written requests for registration refunds must be postmarked or emailed 3 weeks prior to the commencement date and then will be refunded less a $80.00 processing fee. Cancellations received within 3 weeks of the commencement date will not be refunded although the registration can be transferred to another participant for the same workshop.  No refunds are given for no-shows.  The cancellation policy applies once you have registered on-line or faxed through your registration form.
