Family Crisis Childcare ProgramIn 2001 to 2003, the National Dissemination Project coordinated the action-research component of this significant national pilot project that involved supported playgroups for disadvantaged families living in caravan parks. Key areas of enquiry were around early childhood development, parent-child relationships, engaging mobile families, increasing housing options, facilitating awareness of and access to community and family oriented services and incorporating a strengths approach to underpin project development.
