Important Dates

Part-time Open Foundation (Semester 1 commencement)

The closing date for applications for Part-time Open Foundation in 2009 is 30 January. The program begins during the week beginning 2 March 2009 and continues until late November.

Intensive Open Foundation (Semester 2 commencement)

The closing date for applications for Intensive Open Foundation in 2009 is 19 June. The program begins during the week beginning 27 July 2009 and continues until late November.

Acceptance and Enrolment

If you meet the eligibility criteria you will receive a Letter of Acceptance which will include information on how to complete your enrolment online and the details of the Orientation Session to be held in the week prior to the start of semester.

Once you have enrolled in the Open Foundation program, you can vary your course selection up until the end of the second week of classes.

If you are unable to continue your enrolment in Open Foundation you can withdraw from the program using the Online Enrolment Wizard.

As part of your online enrolment you will be required to complete the Australian Government Form 1290(A), Request for Commonwealth Support and HECS-HELP. Failure to complete this form by the census date (31 March or 31 August) will result in the cancellation of your enrolment.
