Costs

Newstep is an equity program. Students are not liable for the Higher Education Contribution Scheme (HECS) during their Newstep year, nor do they pay tuition fees.

Students may be required to purchase text books or course materials.

Financial Assistance

Newstep students may be eligible to apply for Youth Allowance financial assistance. Please contact your local Centrelink office for details and an application form.
