Accommodation

When the University has accepted your admission, you will be sent information about accommodation and an application form. You can choose from the following options:

Homestay with an Australian family can be arranged before you arrive in Newcastle.
On campus accommodation in one of the University's four halls of residence;
Private rental accommodation.

Airport Reception

The International Support Office can provide you with information on travel arrangements from Sydney to Newcastle and help organise for you to be met on arrival in Newcastle.

Living Expenses

Students living in Newcastle usually spend up to A$12 000 each year on general living expenses. This includes food, accommodation, entertainment and travel but does not include expenses associated with a student's spouse or dependants.
