Intake Options

The University of Newcastle offers an International Foundation for students seeking entry to undergraduate programs.

Students are able to enrol in a standard program commencing in March or an intensive program from July, each year. The intensive program sees the student studying Semester 2 and a Summer Term.

For both intakes, students that successfully satisfy all program requirements would commence undergraduate studies in March of the following year.

The University of Newcastle offers the Advanced Entry Program (AEP), a one-term accelerated foundation program for students who have completed 'A' levels or equivalent examinations, and achieved a minimum of two (2) passes. AEP offers these students an alternate pathway into University and provides them with English language support throughout their Foundation program.

On successful completion of AEP, students would be eligible for direct entry into their preferred undergraduate program in March (with the exception of Medicine).
