Dr Natalie Johnson, Emeritis Professor Richard Heller (University of Manachester)
Data collection for this study is almost complete. The aim of the study is to determine whether low-to-moderate intensity home exercise is a simple, low cost, efficacious means of maintaining or improving, the quality-of-life of women with ischaemic heart disease in the 12 months following completion of a formal, outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program. Dr Johnson and Professor Heller look forward to reporting the results of this study mid-late 2002 to the NHMRC and to the cardiac rehabilitation coordinators who kindly recruited study participants.
