NSW nurses' descriptions and explanations of their complementary practice: a qualitative study

This study examines the use of complementary therapies within nursing from the perspective of nurses employing the therapies as part of their nursing services in NSW. The aims of the study are to draw attention to nurses' experiences of integrating complementary therapies into their practice and to help health care professionals to better understand core issues surrounding the planning and provision of complementary therapies within he nursing environment. Thirty in-depth interviews have been completed and data analysis is in progress.
