A key attribute of the CBD is that it effectively integrates the wide range of experimental systems and technical facilities currently being used by the Chief Investigators in their respective institutions.

Within this consortium we are able to link state-of-the-art technologies in such areas as advanced proteomics with functional genomics in mammals and Drosophila.
