Preparing our graduates to succeed on the global stage is a focus of International Work Integrated Learning (iWIL) at the University of Newcastle.
The University of Newcastle aspires to be a global leader in each of its spheres of achievements as detailed in the ‘NeW Directions’ draft vision for 2025. By establishing itself as a global leader in the delivery of innovative research-integrated learning experiences, both domestically and internationally, the University is preparing its students for success in a globalising world.
Coordinated by the International Office and the Faculties, more than 350 students took part in a global learning experience, including iWIL and iLead, in 2011. International learning experiences are available to undergraduate and postgraduate students and iWIL is incorporated into subjects offered in a diverse range of programs. Whether you are studying medicine, health, business or the arts, a world of opportunity awaits University of Newcastle iWIL students.
