The sharing of knowledge and engagement in robust debate have been hallmarks of the tertiary institution since its inception.

The University of Newcastle seeks to continue this tradition with the presentation of its public lecture series, as well as a variety of other public lecture opportunities available throughout the year.

Presented by local, national and international speakers, the Lecture Series aims to raise public awareness, promote community engagement and encourage debate on issues of regional and global interest.
