Holistic communities have a vibrant artistic and cultural life. Newcastle is a city rich in history, arts and culture which contribute to its unique local identity. The University supports and participates in arts and cultural activities which bring dynamic colour and depth to our regions.
Our art galleries, the Conservatorium, a community radio station and our involvement in the inaugural TEDXNewy in 2011 - as well as our numerous alumni and current staff and students who are active in the arts world - are all testament to the University’s continued commitment to and involvement in the cultural life of our community.
