Brisbane Alumni Chapter

The Brisbane Alumni Chapter is made up of alumni living and working in, or near, the Brisbane region in Queensland. It was launched in 1998 and since then various activities have taken place.

The Inaugural Committee recently 'passed the baton' to the new President, Mr Alain Guilleman who is looking to continue the traditions and commence new initiatives.

New members are always welcome and alumni who may be travelling to Brisbane when an Alumni event is scheduled are invited to attend. Alumni who are relocating to Brisbane, are invited to contact the President.

Brisbane Chapter Alumni Awards

The Godfrey Tanner Alumni Medal is an award initiated and administered by the Brisbane Alumni Chapter. It recognises the outstanding contribution of graduates who, through their commitment, dedication and service to either the University, the community or their chosen profession, bring honour and distinction to the University. An award is made when appropriate, at an annual cocktail party generally held in March/April.
