From the publication of Gavin’s honours thesis in the leading research journal Accounting and Finance, the completion of a PhD in Business Administration at the University of Berkeley with a full United States Scholarship, and publications in world-class journals it is apparent that Gavin is a star on the rise.
In his role as an Assistant Professor of Accounting teaching into the MBA course at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Gavin has been the recipient of several teaching awards including, the David W Hauck Award for Outstanding Teaching.
In researching applied issues in the United States and Australian small business sectors Gavin is contributing to academic literature and the formulation of the policy being applied to small firms by both the government and banking sectors.
Gavin’s research explores how entrepreneurs and hedge fund managers use information for their decision making needs and contracting with investors.
