Community engagement is an important part of the NeW Space project and we are committed to keep the community informed throughout the duration of the project.
An engagement program has recently been developed and includes stakeholder briefings, newsletters, information sessions and a dedicated email address.
The University of Newcastle have met with, and will continue to meet with, local Council and State Government stakeholders as well as relevant industry bodies.
We have scheduled two community information sessions. These will be held at Newcastle City Hall on:
- Wednesday 11 June from 6.00pm – 9.00pm
- Saturday 30th August from 2.00pm – 5.00pm
These information sessions are aligned to our State Significant Development application process and will help to inform our application.
