School Research

The School of Education achieved an outstanding result in the 2013 QS World University Rankings by Subject, where Education at Newcastle ranked in the top 150 universities in the world at 128. 

In 2012, School staff produced over 130 book or journal publications, attracted $2,156,172 in grant funding, and were supervising 160 research higher degree candidates.

Our strong research performance has attracted national and international attention, and seen our academic staff rewarded with NHMRC fellowships, ARC and NHMRC grants, and other prestigious recognition.
