Kate Lindsay discusses the question "When is it lawful to discriminate under NSW law?"
Kate Lindsay was interviewed on 29 May for the ABC radio program Statewide Afternoons with Chris Coleman on the topic of "When is it lawful to discriminate under NSW law?" The stimulus for the program was a story that a NSW woman living on the South Coast had been precluded from competing in a winter swimming carnival by a men's swimming club.
Kate Lindsay is a senior lecturer and researcher in the Newcastle Law School at the University of Newcastle. One of her primary focuses in the Law School is in Anti-discrimination law, especially age and disability discrimination and discrimination in education.
