AAT-UoN Internship Program kicks off

The AAT-UoN Internship Program was established jointly by the two institutions with a view to building closer relations between the institutions and providing UoN students with a prestigious and unique opportunity to work in Australia's largest tribunal

Grace Cummings and Craig Eade are the inaugural internees who have been competitively selected for the Administrative Appeals Tribunal - University of Newcastle Internship Program. Grace and Craig will complete their internships in Sydney in 2013.

The AAT-UoN Internship Program was established jointly by the two institutions with a view to building closer relations between the institutions and providing UoN students with a prestigious and unique opportunity to work in Australia's largest tribunal.

Professor Gopalan, Head of School and Dean of the Newcastle Law School, said, 'This is an excellent opportunity for UoN students to obtain high quality public law work experience'.

It is intended that the internship program will run twice a year providing up to 6 internships annually. Applications for 2014 Internships will be invited early in 2014.
