Censorship and pornography on the Internet

Since the increase of the popularity of the Internet, concern is felt by some people about the amount of pornography freely available that could easily be accessed by children. Public libraries in particular have felt pressured to censor this material by using Internet filter software which blocks searches for certain words.

Internet filter software may effectively block access to non-pornographic and legitimate information.
