Journals
Journals (often referred to as serials or periodicals)
are published on a regular basis, such as weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
Journals are extremely useful:
- Due to their regular publication schedule they
provide access to current information
- Allow you to keep up-to-date with current literature
in a specific area
- Focus on very specific topics, but generally
don't provide background information
- Are often the only place where results of research
are available
- Are an important source of scholarly information
for your assignments.
