Where do I start?

There are a number of methods that you can use to search for information.

You may be directed to specific information, such as:

• Your reading list
• Bibliographies

You may also need to search for additional information using a range of tools, these include:

• Library catalogues
• Library databases
• The Internet

In all of the above, the sources of information will be recorded in a standard format known as a 'reference' or a 'citation'.
