To
delete a citation:
- Click within the in-text citation in
the Word document, then select
.
The Edit
& Manage Citations Window will appear, with the selected in-text citation highlighted.
- Click the drop
down arrow to the right of
,
select Remove Citation, then .
EndNote removes the in-text citation and automatically
updates the list of references.

IMPORTANT! |
| It is vital that you use the Edit Citation command to
remove in-text citations. If you remove a citation by using your keyboard’s <Del> or
<Bk Sp> buttons this will remove the in-text citation,
but will not update your bibliography. Additionally, using the <Del> or
<Bk Sp> buttons may also cause your in-text citations to move position within the document. |
