Attaching images

You are able attach any of the common image files (BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF) to references in your Library.

To insert an image:

  • Open the Reference Window, then select References > Figure > Attach Figure .

  •   Click Choose File - find and select the file required, then Open.

    A thumbnail of the image, or icon for the associated software, will appear in the Figure Field.      One image only can be attached per reference.

Type a caption for the image in the Caption field - this ensures that when you insert the image into your Word document, the corresponding caption appears under the image.
